Hello! I’m Alejandra López, a Spanish teacher with more than 30 years’ teaching experience, helping students build confidence, improve their fluency and communicate naturally in Spanish.

I hold a degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Education and Learning Difficulties. Over the years, I have taught Spanish to professionals in companies across Barcelona, specialising in both general Spanish and Spanish for professional and business purposes.

My lessons are tailored to your level, goals and individual needs and are available both online and in person, giving you the flexibility to learn in the way that suits you best. Whether you are starting from scratch or already speak Spanish and want to expand your vocabulary, improve your fluency or refine your spoken and written communication skills, I will help you make steady progress at your own pace.

My aim is to make learning Spanish practical, enjoyable and effective, so that you can use the language with greater confidence in everyday life and at work.

What my students usually ask

Do I need to know any Spanish to start?

No. You can start from scratch. If your only word in Spanish is hola, that is no problem at all. From the very first lesson we build on what you already know, and you start communicating in Spanish from day one.

Are lessons online or in person?

You can choose whichever format suits you best: online lessons or face-to-face lessons in Barcelona. I also teach Spanish in companies.

What happens when we first get in touch?

We talk about your goals, assess your current level and design a learning plan together, tailored to what you need.

Do you prepare students for the DELE exams?

Yes, I prepare students for every DELE level. We work with past papers, timed exercises and specific strategies so you can approach each of the four sections with confidence.

What happens if I have to cancel a lesson?

You can move it to another day at no cost, as long as you let me know at least 24 hours in advance.
